You don't! My Marley sucked her thumb till she was a little over 4 years old. We tried everything, thumb polish that tasted like vomit, covering her hand with a sock, teasing her, getting upset at her..on and on, and then one day she quit! And you know what, she was my best baby, and still just as wonderful today. Since having a thumb sucker for a child, it has changed how I look at thumb suckers, I love them. I'm kinda happy for you! Oh, about the teeth, Marley does have a little gap in between her front teeth, I love it, and it will go away as soon as all of her permanent teeth come in. Oh, and I guess really, it may not have anything to do with sucking her thumb. I don't know? Okay, are you sorry you asked? Have a good one.

Hey now Brodie does NOT look like that!!! LOL We just got him to stop this past year, and it was NOT fun. Now that Chan has been off his pass for so long do you think that if you tryed to give her one that she wopuld take it? its easyer to take away a pass then it is the thumb. Everyone told me "Oh thats so cute don't stop him from doing that" I wish that I would have stopped it as soon as it started.
