Memorial Day!

We spent all Memorial Day in AF Canyon, enjoying the weather and each others company!

Thank you to the men and women who have served and protected our country!

Kate finally using her fishing pole she got for Christmas.

Chan got a Smokey the Bear badge from the Ranger (he probably knew Chan is very capable of starting a forest fire).

Chan kept yelling, "I fink (think) I got somefing (something)!"

Of course he did... buckwheat!

They didn't catch anything, but they had fun!

The Park

It snowed TWO inches yesterday. Luckily, it all melted away by lunchtime. And lucky for us Aunt Shanda was here to cheer us all up! So we spent FIVE hours at the park today... making up for the lost time of not being able to go outside!

Dirt birthday cakes with stick candles.

Weekend Outside!

We spent all afternoon at Liberty Park; playing on the playgrounds, eating snow cones, riding a few carnival rides, picking flowers and enjoying the spring weather!

Afterwards, we grabbed a bit to eat and headed down the street to the Bee's game!

Kate is hiding her chin with her ticket... she tripped and her chin met the sidewalk before entering the game. She said, "mom, just let me cry for a little bit because it really hurts!"

The Bee's came out on top with a 12 to 11 WIN (but the kids could care less)!
