New Years EVE

We had a fun New Years Eve night with our good friends the Taylors' & Millwards'.
We got a last minute babysitter for the kids & enjoyed a nice dinner at the Thai House, down on Main Street.

Afterwards, we came back to our house for dessert (peppermint pie ice cream, tuxedo mousse cake or cookies-n-cream) . Video games were played by the men. Farkle, laughing & chatting for the women. And we let the kids run wild (until 10:30pm)!

We are ready for 2012!

More Christmas FUN!

Kate with her best friend

Gramma was brave & attempted a gingerbread house with all 3 kids.

It didn't last very long, someone kept picking off the candy!

On the way to the airport (Kate was very disappointed when she found out she wasn't joining them on the plane).

Thanks for the visit, we had a WONDERFUL time! Come back soon.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, from our family to yours

Christmas morning (7am)...

Santa brought Kate a pair roller blades, Chan a remote control car & a kitchen for Sage

New sleds. Too bad there's no snow to use them.

Gramma surprised Papa's with a new suit.

Gramma made Kate a new apron for when she helps in the kitchen.

Chan's new binoculars to go on his "adventures."

After opening presents we went outside "to see if the neighbor kids were playing with their new toys." The cars were parked in the driveway. "That's funny, why are the cars in the driveway & not the garage?" "Maybe there is something in the garage?" Kate screamed, "open the garage!" "It's a trampoline, this is the best surprise ever!"

The drama queen fell to the concrete & said...

Jumping in the garage until it got moved around the back!

Hedbanz was the favorite game this year!

Ready for church on a beautiful Christmas afternoon.

An evening jump in the backyard.

Christmas EVE

A fun time was had by all, when we went tubing on Christmas Eve!

The best picture of all:
Papa went a little too far & got caught in the fence!

After tubing, Steve made his traditional Christmas Eve Chicken Parmesan for dinner. Along with salad (Olive Garden dressing), garlic bread & sparkling cider. BOMB!

The kids opened Christmas p.j.'s...

and prepared some goodies for Santa & his reindeer's.

***The kids went to bed & the adults stayed up to watch Home Alone & prepare for Christmas.***
