Family Night at the Rink

Steve's work department rented out the ice rink for family night. We may not have any Nancy Kerrigan's or Wayne Gretzky's, but it was a TON of fun! Especially after Kate and Chan felt comfortable letting go of the wall... ( "it is so slippery", this is really hard, why do I keep falling, I wish I could skate really fast!")

She had a half of dozen falls, but picked herself up... she was very determined to learn how to skate!

Chan wanted to play hockey with the big boys.

Sage was content in the stroller with a bag of Cheetos and momma's gloves

After one big fall and hitting the side of her head on the ice, Kate went and asked for her own helmet.

Kate was very excited that she could skate in the middle of the rink (" I'm doing it, I'm really, really doing it!")

The kids have been riding their scooters in our unfinished basement for months because of the LONG winter days... we finally have had THREE beautiful days in a row, where they've scooted themselves all over the neighborhood!

Miss Piggy-Tail

Baby sister LOVES to get her hair done. After getting her dressed in the mornings, (or sometimes afternoon) I say, "lets go do your hair!" She fluffs up the back of her hair with her hands and then makes a mad dash for the bathroom.

Chan in Itty Bitty Ball

Chan just finished a three week clinic of Itty Bitty Ball of 5 sports; soccer, volleyball, baseball, football & basketball (football and soccer were his favorites, but football and baseball were his best sports).

St. Patty's

I decorated a little for St. Patrick's Day to represent the birthday month!

The kids all wore their green, so there was NO pinchy pinchy until dad got home because he "forgot!"

Brenchley Cousins!

We LOVED having our Brenchley cousins stay with us this week... they are a ton of FUN!

Sage was glued to Uncle Paul's hip; always sitting on his lap & giving him hugs & snuggles.

Chandler took a tumble on his scooter & scrapped his nose on the street. It hasn't been able to heal because he won't leave it alone!

Nat and the kids came to stay with us for a couple of days & we sure had a FUN time!

Tate & Sagey were really cute together... he called her "baby" & she teased him with ALL of the toys!

Lilly fit right in with Kate & Chan, she is getting so big and has a spunky "personatalie!"
