Lovin Me Some Autumn

The leaves on the trees we planted this summer are slowly starting to change color.
(I hope I chose some good ones)

Walk-a-thon

Kate participated in her schools annual "Walk-a-thon" & raised $80 (thanks to gramma, nana, aunt shanda, aunt lacey & dad) for the event.

The younger kids & I surprised her & went down to the school to cheer her on.
She came running around the corner & we yelled, "GO GO Kate!" She was shocked we were there & extremely happy!

She saw Sage & wanted to give her a hug, but I told her to keep going...

She turned around & yelled, "one more lap!"

Blowing kisses to her #1 fans

AWESOME job Katers, we are very proud of you!

"Sagey & The Lions Den"

Sage has great nursery leaders. She is always coming home with the cutest stuff. Her older siblings often bribe her with candy to play with her newest creation.

She may not look ferocious, but she has the Roarrrrrr down when she's not sucking her thumb.

Little Mother

I had a horrible headache today. So, I took a two hour nap while Sagey was sleeping and Kate & Chan were watching a movie. After waking up, I looked over at my nightstand to find this thoughtful arrangement...

from this sweet big girl...

Thank you Kate, you're a big help to your mommy. More than you know.
I love you!

*get well card, cold water & a plate of carrots because they are "healthy" for you & freshly picked wildflowers in water.***

Happy 100th Birthday...

We spent Labor Day weekend in Arizona, celebrating Nana Trudie's 100th Birthday (Sept.3rd) with family & friends.
Wonderful food, lovely decor, beautiful & funny video of her life, a heart felt musical number performed by the Breinholt cousins & a smokey 100 candle birthday cake.

(You don't look a day over 90!)

We are grateful to be a part of your life, we love you.

First Day Kindergarten

We have a Kindergartner & her name is Kate!

Lining up with her class

Walking into school

She never looked back!

*** "I loved it, it was the best!" "Can I go back tomorrow?" "My favorite part was playing with Alyssa, Jane & Ezra at recess. "I really like my teacher." "I have a little bit of homework, but it's easy because we eat M &M's & answer questions." " I love having my own desk." " I sit by a girl named Halle." "We can't take off our shoes in class because there might be a fire drill & then our shoes will be in the fire!" ***

Go Green Lizards!

Kate had her very first soccer game today & she ROCKS! She's fast, extremely aggressive & looks stinkin' cute running up & down the field.

She came in between these two boys & kicked the ball, missing the goal by an inch. But it sure looked cool.

She then stole the ball & kicked it all the way down the field...

She kicked it to make a goal, but missed it by a foot to the left.
Next time, Katers!

Almost Two

We sure do love our Sagey-cat, but I'm afraid the terrible two's have come a few months early. Changing her name to "Sweet & Sour" Sagey.

Happy 23 months Miss Feisty!

T-Point Farm

We took advantage of two buck Tuesdays at Thanksgiving Point, by going to the farm with some of the neighborhood kids.

After we sanitized our hands, we had lunch & ice cream at the Deli.
