The Red, White & Blue!

We spent four beautiful days in the mountains of Park City for the Fourth of July!

Lodging at Westgate in the Canyons

Many hours of swimming in the jacuzzi tub & swimming pool at the resort.

They let off the fireworks where we were staying...

Aunt Shanda took Kate & Chan on the sky lift while waiting for the fireworks
(the kids have asked all weekend to ride this, but we kept telling them no because it cost money. However, the night of the fireworks it was free. On the ride up Kate told Aunt Shanda, "I think you are smarter than my mom because she kept telling me it cost money to ride this!"

Shanda eating leftover pizza from Maxwells, our new favorite pizza place... LOVE it!

Riding the ski lift up to Alpine Slide...

Sorry Sagey, next year when you're two.

I can see both of these kids doing the real bobsled when they turn fourteen... thrill seekers!

Zip line at Olympic Park

Strawcopters (papa's invention) with Papa & Nana...

BBQ & Park City parade with Nana & Papa too
(thanks for saving the seats)

Happy Fourth America,
"sweet land of Liberty!"

Prince Charming

Every princess needs a Prince Charming, right?

(the things Chan does for his sister, without any hesitation)

Sleep Over!

The two older kids had their annual sleep over at Nana & Papa's Salt Lake condo. They of course LOVED every minute of it... swimming, the dollar store, Liberty Park for the bird Museum, tennis lessons, Liberty Park rides, & the movies of Cars 2. On the way home I asked Kate if she had fun. She said, " yes, it was so amazing!"

Thank you Nana & Papa, it was "AMAZING" for all of us!

Happy Birthday Stevie C.

Steve went to scout camp the morning/ early afternoon of his birthday. Afterwards, he came home to take a nap.

We met up with Nana & Papa at Smashburger for dinner for some juicy burgers, fries & root beer!

Afterwards, we came home to open presents & eat some ice cream cake!

Some enjoyed it a little more than others...

Steve's big present

We are grateful to have Nana & Papa in town to enjoy the festivities with us!

Happy 32nd Birthday Steve, We LOVE You!

Mac-Cousins

It's always fun to hang out with the Macfarlane cousins. Especially when there's yummy food (brats & every salad under the sun) & laughter along with it too!

Grassy...

We had sod laid today. We are loving it, but will love it even more when we can walk on it in TEN days.

Up next, flowers & some shrubbery by the porch & windows.

(my favorite part of the backyard are these tiny little hand prints in the corner of the patio)

Lost : TOOTH!

There has been a few of us that have wanted to yank- tug or pull out Kate's extra wiggly tooth. It's been dangling there for a few weeks now. However, she won't let any hands- string or pliers get near it. Less than four hours after I took this picture of that extra wiggly tooth, it fell out while she was brushing her teeth. No pain, but a $1 gain from the tooth fairy!

One happy BIG girl!

Father's DAY!

"Oh, how we LOVE our father!"

by: Kate

I made this cute sign for the special occasion.

The kids & I also made this yummy card for daddy!

Nana & I made a feast for these fine gentleman... tri-tip, garlic mashed potatoes, steamed green beans & brussel sprouts, spinach salad with poppy seed dressing, a fruit bowl, a chocolate cake for dessert & washed it down with a coke in glass bottles!

They sure adore their dad!

Happy Father's Day!

Trees... Lots of Trees!

The three of us put in a full day of work by planting TEN trees; four in the front, six in the back. It looks great! We can't wait to watch them blossom & provide us with some more shade.

Up next, grass.

***Nana put in a full day too by watching the kids, big thanks to you Nana!***
