Nana switched places with gramma & papa & spent 5 days with us.  Thank you Nana for taking care of us & coming to see baby June.

One Week Old Junie B

Steve & I had to be at the hospital at 5:30am for our planned c-section. I only slept for 3 hours that night because of nerves, anxiousness & excitement!

 

 

Giddy to see if BABY J is a boy or girl...
(Baby was breech & was swimming in a lot of fluid.  Dr. Lamoreaux said, here's baby's feet, baby's legs, baby's back, shoulders & perfect round head... I yelled out, Ok but is baby a boy or girl?  Baby is a GIRL & she looks beautiful!  I said, really??? I was shocked!  I was 99% sure it was a boy.)

(Sage said, I told you it was a sister!  Bubba's said it was a boy, but it's a sister.  Sage was the only one who thought it was a girl.)

Visitors on Labor Day Weekend

 

Aunt Shanda, Nat & the kids came to spend Labor Day weekend with us!  Of course we went to Ruth's, Swiss Days & giggled when the kids went to bed. 

It was an fun-filled 4 days!

 

Pink OR Blue?

 In one week from today, "Baby J"

(we have one boy name & one girl name, both start with the letter J) 

will make it's arrival!

 

Nana & Papa

Nana & Papa were in Utah for 5 weeks this summer.  It was a lot of fun spending time with them, eating out, playing at parks & going to the movies.  We also had a few slumber parties at their SL condo & our house!

 

Preschool for Chan

 

Chandler LOVED his first day of preschool with Miss Tecia!

He came home talking about how he's going to be a builder, not a destroyer ( As he was taunting Sage at the same time.  Baby steps, with this kid).

  

Fall Soccer

Fall soccer started today...

 

Chan is a Silver Shark, playing with 5 neighborhood kids on his team.

 

Cheering after he scored a goal!

He made 4 goals in his first game.

 





Kate is a Blue Dolphin, playing with one neighborhood friend.

 

Kate is on an all girl team, playing 6 vs. 6 on a much larger field. 

 



It's going to be a FUN season!

1st Grader!

Miss Kate started 1st grade today.  She was most excited about "eating in the cafeteria" & "seeing all her friends".  Miss Christensen is one lucky teacher to have her in her class ALL day.

9 YEARS!

Steve & I celebrated our "golden" anniversary (9 years on the 9th of Aug.) by dining on the patio at Ruth's & attending Wicked at the Capitol Theater in downtown Salt Lake.
